Supporting Mental Health and Wellbeing in Our School Community

At St Peter’s, we care about mental health and wellbeing. Within our school we have a strong team of adults and students who are there to listen, act as a guide and support with identifying further interventions so as to ensure a young person is happy and successful at school.

When might you need support?

  1. Feeling worried or anxious about school or home life
  2. Having challenges with friends
  3. Unsure about something online
  4. Struggling with feelings or confidence
  5. Having difficult thoughts

  5. ELSA (Emotional Literacy Support Assistant)

  9. Our Safeguarding Team

What happens if you ask for help?

  1. You will be listened to and helped to feel supported
  2. You may be connected with the Pastoral Support Team
  3. You will be matched with the right person to support you
  4.  Support is reviewed
