St Peter's
Catholic School

Another record-breaking year at St Peter’s for class of 2025!

St Peter’s students are celebrating another successful year of A Levels and BTECs. This year is record-breaking with a quarter of students receiving straight As and A*s. In total, 51% of the grades awarded were A*-Awith 22% of all grades being an A*. 74% of the grades were A*-B.  As a school, we couldn’t be prouder of our students and we are glad to see their hard work pay off.

Mrs Rana-Brown, Head of Sixth Form, was thrilled! She commented, "I am so proud of this year group. They have proven that dedication and hard work pays off. We will really miss them next year but wish them well as they get ready for their next steps – 42% of them are going to Russell Group universities, which is excellent.”

She continued, "We are also proud to report on how well students who joined St Peter’s from other schools have achieved. 30% of external students received straight A*/As. 63% of these students received at least two A*/A grades."

Mr Steady, Head of Year, said, “I am immensely proud of our Year 13 students for their outstanding results this year.  This is a testament to their consistent hard work and positive attitude over the past two years. It is amazing to see our external students settle in so well at St Peter's and excel in their A Levels and BTECs.”

Mr Miller, Headteacher, stated "It was wonderful to see so many happy young people as they opened their results and were able to celebrate the end of a long journey. It is an immensely proud moment for us, as a school, to see them achieve their goals and look forward to the next stage, which, for most, is university studies.  The year group worked incredibly hard and supported each other throughout.  To be successful with A Levels and Vocational Qualifications is tough and requires persistence and rigour from the very start of the course.  This cohort fully embraced that challenge and has reaped the rewards this summer.  I would also like to pay tribute to the subject teachers and Sixth Form team who have challenged them to be their very best, but supported them 100%, which is the combination that works well at St Peter’s.  Thanks to all our wonderful parents for their support behind the scenes and for trusting us to do the right thing for their children. We wish all the youngsters the very best as they embark on their next adventure – well done!”

Congratulations to these students who achieved three A*s across their suite of qualifications: Abdulrahman AA, Oscar B, Katie E, Alexander E, Hugo M, Shayne A, Georgie E, Emma N, Fin T, Adam T, Aston W, Matthew W, and Chloe C. A quarter of students received straight A/A* so in addition we would like to congratulate: Aidan, Amy, Lili, Mia, Ellie, Ghislaine, Alex K, Theo K, Finlay M, Colm M, Matilda M, Marysia P, Azeem S, Lizzie S, Alex S, Jakub S, Sophie W, Theo W, Lamees E, Seb D, Josh L, Annie S, Kit S, and Hannah T. 45% of students received at least two A*/A grades.
