At St Peter’s, catering is supplied by Surrey County Council and offers a varied menu which offers something tasty for everyone. It provides the right balance between good quality, healthy food and value for money including a two-course lunch meal at £2.25 (as at September 2016).
A wide range of food is served in the Dining Hall from Monday to Friday as follows:
Breakfast: 08:20 to 08:45
The options include warm rolls, bacon, sausages, hash browns, potato waffles, scotch pancakes and sweet waffles.
Morning break: 11:05 to 11:25
The options include paninis, bacon rolls, hot bagels, toasted sandwiches, sandwiches, cakes, fresh fruit, salads and cold pasta pots.
Lunchtime: 12:25 to 13:15
The options include a hot meal of the day (meat and vegetarian options), hot pasta pots, hot wraps, jacket potatoes with a choice of fillings, toasties, salad buffet, fresh fruit and desserts.
To accommodate students attending lunchtime activities and alleviate queues in the Dining Hall, a very popular Street Food Kiosk has been implemented providing a varied choice of take away meals, for example curry and rice, meatballs and pasta, Chinese with noodles, sausages and mashed potatoes, chilli, hot dogs and pasta with various toppings.
A range of drinks are available at all services including water, fruit juices, flavoured waters, flavoured milk and fruit cans. All drinks are school compliant with controlled sugar and additives.
