  • 2019 Feast Day Sponsored Walk Charities

    Published 23/05/19

This year we are raising money for Aid to the Church in Need as we continue exploring our theme of Having Faith and what that means in today’s world. This is an extremely important charity for the Catholic Church as it helps to advance the Christian religion by supporting and promoting the Church, especially in countries where Christians are suffering persecution or discrimination. The other main strand of their charitable work is providing practical assistance and pastoral care for persons in need, especially those who are living in, or are refugees from, countries where they face persecution.

This charity was chosen by our Sixth Formers following a talk about the charity and our students wanted to raise as much as possible to help this excellent charity so have chosen it as the our charity for Feast Day.

Students are encouraged to gain sponsorship for this event. The links are all below  to make it easy for parents, family and friends to access these and to help us raise as much as possible for our chosen charity. Over the last few years we have raised over £10,000 for our chosen charities so we would like to raise as much as that again!
