Please find attached a document outlining the expectations and instructions for home study over the next few weeks whilst the school is closed. It is really important that students get straight into good habits in terms of structuring their day, working with purpose and organising themselves accordingly. St Peter’s Catholic School in Guildford has again been formally recognised for its commitment to careers education and guidance by being re-accredited with the prestigious Quality in Careers Standard.
The Quality in Careers Standard is the single national quality award for careers education, information, advice and guidance (CEIAG) in schools, colleges and work-based learning.
All state-funded secondary schools are “strongly recommended” by the Department for Education in its statutory guidance to work towards, achieve and maintain this national standard as part of its careers strategy and St Peter’s has now held the award for 10 years.
