Year 12 BTEC Event Update
During the last two weeks of December, the Year 12 BTEC Business Students undertook their practical in Unit 5: Managing an Event.
The team created a magnificent enchanting entrance to welcome guests to the Christmas Concert in St Cecilia's, provided refreshments and cleaned between each performance as well as crowd control and general wonderment!
In preparation for the Christmas Market, the team managed a group of Year 10 students to create a busy and atmospheric event, ran it during lunch time and supervised the tidying away.
Our winning stall this year was The Waffle Shack which made £95.70 in 45 mins!!! Congratulations to Esah, Maciej, Ollie, Charlie and Oliver.
The students raised £126.35 from the panto and £321.45 from the Christmas Market; a grand total of £457.80! The profits will go towards paying for the Young Enterprise competition entries, our local charities and Warhammer Club.
