Year 11 Celebrate Exam Success

St Peter’s Students Celebrate Outstanding GCSE Results
Today, the St Peter’s community—students, staff, and families—came together in gratitude and celebration as our Year 11 students received their GCSE results. These outcomes are a testament not only to the students’ dedication and resilience but also to the strength of our shared faith, the support of our school family and our Catholic mission to nurture every child.
We are delighted to report this year’s results are among the best in the school’s history. An impressive 96% of students achieved five or more GCSEs at grade 4 or above, and 83% achieved five or more at grade 5 or above. Over 48% of all entries were graded 9–7 and 94% of all entries were graded 4 or above, reflecting exceptional academic performance across the board.
These achievements are not only academic milestones but also a reflection of the values we uphold at St Peter’s: love, courage, service, justice and reflection. We give thanks for the tireless efforts of our dedicated staff, whose commitment to both academic excellence and pastoral care has nurtured every student. We also recognise the unwavering support of parents and carers, who have walked alongside their children with patience and encouragement.
Above all, we celebrate our students—their talents, their hard work, and their growth in character. Among those who achieved all grades at 8 or 9 are: Freya Warren, Sienna Willsher, Bartholemew Little and Emily Kibble. Other high attaining students included Josh Hunt, Stan Brading, Manuel Moreira, Annabel Tyler, Jessica Emery, Daisy Morton, Constance Yip, Phoebe Hendry, Quinn O’Riordan and Edward Hurton.
We are equally proud of students who made remarkable progress during their time at St Peter’s and also those who have faced particular challenges through their GCSE journey. These include: Kian Dunham, Maria Agostinho, Odhran Twist, Nadia Pintus, Isla Carradine and Maria McAuliffe
We look forward to welcoming many of our students back into St Peter’s Sixth Form in September, where they will continue to grow and wish all the best to those students continuing their studies in other institutions.
Headteacher Mr Toby Miller said:
“I am immensely proud of every single student who embraced the challenges of GCSEs and achieved the grades we have seen this summer. They engaged fully with the support offered, trusted the process, and are now well-prepared for the next stage of their journey. Their success is a reflection of their hard work, the care of our staff, and the strength of our school community.”
