KEY STAGE 3 INFORMATION 

Year 7 
Students complete a  seven week module in Graphics. They learn how to complete a one and two point perspective drawing, orthographic and isometric projections. The techniques are traditional and mainly taught using pencils and paper so that these skills can be developed using modern technology in the future.  

Years 8 and 9 
In Years 8 and 9, students further develop and use the skills learnt in Year 7 as a part of the Textiles and Resistant Materials projects. Where applicable, they use computer-aided design and manufacture.   

KEY STAGE 4 INFORMATION 

Years 10 and 11
Throughout the two years, students will study the AQA syllabus. Students learn how to design, model and create complex graphic products, as well as learn about the properties, characteristics and manufacturing of papers and boards. Students create a range of unique prototype products.
