All students at Key Stage 3 follow a timetable with the subjects set by the National Curriculum. Supplementing the curriculum is a wide range of enrichment activities.
Students are have greater flexibility at Key Stage 4 by selecting certain subjects. The core curriculum that is followed includes; English, Maths, Science, Religious Education, Technology, Citizenship, PSHE & Physical Education. Further subjects are then selected to supplement these, usually resulting in a GCSE exam. Some students study a more vocational curriculum by doing work experience in addition to the core subjects which is known as ‘Increased Flexibility’.
For further information on each of the subjects at KS3 & KS4, please refer to the individual subject areas on this website. Guidance is given on the content and when topics are studied in the year.
