- Black, NEW from September 2010 Style Number 3540 Senior Skirt Side
jetted Pocket – Black. This is the only skirt
that may be worn. Skirts must be worn near the knee and on the waist. *

– Sheer or opaque; to be either
natural or black colour. Patterned
tights are not acceptable.

– plain black socks worn to the knee.
In Summer, plain white short socks are permitted.

JEWELLERY & MAKE-UP - No jewellery is permitted except a religious medal on a
short chain, a watch. Small gold or silver studs may be worn as a pair, one in
each ear-lobe (single earrings or fashion earrings may not be worn). No extreme
hair styles or colours and no nail varnish. Discreet make-up is permitted in Key Stage 4 only, at
the discretion of staff. Boys should be clean-shaven.
Sixth Formers
are not required to
wear uniform but are expected to be clean and tidy and come dressed in a
manner that reflects the ethic of the working day and the school ethos.
Girls who receive sporting colours will be given as appropriate either a full or half-colour fabric badge to sew or iron onto their blazer pocket.
Boys who receive sporting colours will receive half and full colour ties to wear.
Half Colour Awards are awarded at the end of Year 9 and Full Colours in Year 11. Both Sports Honours are awarded at the September Presentation Evening.
