Extra Curricular Activities
Our students are invited and encouraged to participate in a wide range of educational visits and expeditions, either to enhance academic learning, to contribute to the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme, or to give pure enjoyment and shared experience.
The trips and expeditions give students the confidence to take appropriate risks, the resilience to cope with adversity, and the ability to develop into responsible citizens.

Everyone is encouraged to take part in the exceptional range of extra-curricular activities which are one of the greatest strengths of the school. The Extended Curriculum provides a variety of sports and games, frequent guest speakers, theatre and music trips, public speaking competitions, marketing competitions and workshops. Through an extensive range of opportunities students will learn more about themselves as well as discovering new interests and talents.

There are many clubs and activities on offer both at lunchtimes and after school. These include Rugby, Football, Dance, Gymnastics, Trampolining, Cricket, Cross Country, Athletics, Rockclimbing, Rowing, St Peter's Young Chamber of Commerce, Netball, ICT, Homework Support, Maths, Table Tennis, Textile Club, Duke of Edinburgh, Art, Debate Club, Maths, Bridge, Interhouse Sports, Book Club, Chess Club, French Conversation, Dance Club, Drama, Choir, Orchestra, Jazz Band, Science Clubs, Dance & Fashion Show, Theatrical productions, Musical Concerts, and Student Voice. There really is something for everyone!

There are opportunities for students to develop through Peer Group Support, and Student Voice. Student Voice gives students an opportunity to make suggestions and ideas that will benefit the whole school. Many of their ideas relating to School Houses, Uniform and Fundraising have been positively received and actioned. Student Voice members meet with other members across the South East and the last two chairs of the Surrey division have been St Peter's students.

What Ofsted says...........

"A significant strength is extra curricular provision that includes almost all the students in the school and contributes to their enjoyment and achievement"
Ofsted 2008
