These bids are hugely welcome to the school and in 2009/10 every single application for funding was agreed. There was more money than usual this year due to the Auction of Promises held in the Summer which was a new and very successful event. This year the PTA have donated £7,000 towards improving facilities at St Peter’s. This is fantastic and we really do appreciate the work of the PTA members.
As you will see from the list below the PTA are hugely important to the school and their hard work really does make a difference to all the students. Please do support social events run by the PTA – they really are good fun as anyone who was at either the Auction of Promises or Quiz Night will tell you. Alternatively, offer to help with serving refreshments at Open Evenings, School Productions, Summer Soiree etc – all the money raised goes to the PTA and is then spent on the school!!
We are proud to have been able to help the School with recent requests from most Faculties for resources and equipment. This has only been able by the funds raised by the PTA over the past year and my thanks go especially to the dedicated committee members. Our £7,000 has been able to provide………...
