|Young Curators – The Lightbox Art Gallery, Woking
Lara Steer, Isaac Brocklesby, Julia Kapciak, Olivia Chadwick and Cheska Castro all took part in a series of workshops at the Lightbox in Woking and worked with Artists to create pieces in wire and plaster to mark the exhibition of Elizabeth Frink’s work at the gallery.
All the Students had their work exhibited at the gallery until May and there was a prestigious opening preview, which Julia attended. See photo. All the artwork is available to view now in the school reception.

Nǐ hǎo! 你好!The Gifted and Talented Mandarin students comprising of 16 Year 7-9 students (and one sixth former!) have had a busy first year indeed!
So far we have learnt how to say words relating to greetings, numbers, birthdays, nationalities, colours, family members, pets, fruits, food and shopping. We have even learnt a few songs!
