St Peter’s GCSE Results Day

Despite the challenges of the last 17 months, our Year 11 students have performed brilliantly in their GCSE’s and there were many smiles as envelopes were opened.  Once again St Peter’s students showed resilience and determination to overcome the challenges of online learning and the unprecedented manner that their GCSE grades were awarded.

We would like to pay tribute to all of our staff who supported the students throughout the last five years, to the parents who have shared the anxiety and pressure whilst trying to remain calm but especially to the students and their fabulous talents and sheer hard work that enabled them to be awarded the grades they deserved.

It will be a delight to welcome most of our students back into St Peter’s Sixth Form in September and see them start the next stage of their journey.

The progress made across the year group has been excellent and there were many standout results both in terms of high attainment but also significant progress made by all ability ranges.  Students who achieved 8 or more grade 9s include Amy, Anna, Max, Josephine, Jonny, Grace, Kate, Matthew, Melani and Will.

Headteacher, Toby Miller said “I am immensely proud of every single student who embraced continual change throughout their GCSE years and achieved the grades they have.  They engaged well with a rigorous process of centre set assessments and have shown resilience and perseverance throughout the most challenging of times in education.”

We would like to congratulate all students and wish them all the very best for their future.
